How strict is the rule about booking the Learning Studio 5 days prior to the test?

You must allow at least five days prior to the test date, when booking the Learning Studio, just as you must post it on the LMS five days before as stated in the Handbook. I need time to prepare laptops and, at times, organise the room for several tests to be running at the same time. The earlier you can book, the more likely your students are to have space. (Booking a test on the day is not guaranteed).

What if the Learning Studio is full?

The Learning Studio can accommodate 23 students, sitting in exam formation, so it is possible that on some occasions there will not be room for some students needing accommodations. Some options: 

1. You may consider rescheduling the test.

2. Check the students’ schedules to see if they have a Study Seminar or Study Period in the morning that would work.

3. You could manage the students in your room whilst providing their required accommodations. (With this option, you must notify Aaron Brown).

4. You can book laptops, if you need them and Aaron Brown will bring them to your room for an afternoon test.
